I am the Board of Visitors Research Assistant Professor at the Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA) and a member of the LIGO Collaboration. My current research focuses on the astrophysics of gravitational-wave sources, in collaboration with Prof. Vicky Kalogera’s research group. I received a BA in Physics from Vassar College and a BE in Electrical Engineering from Dartmouth College in 2013 and 2014, respectively. In 2019, I received my PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago under Prof. Daniel Holz studying gravitational-wave astrophysics. After that, I was a postdoctoral scholar in Prof. Ben Farr’s group at The University of Oregon’s Institute for Fundamental Science. Outside of my research on gravitational waves, I enjoy teaching, sharing science with the public, and building an inclusive scientific community.
